Libby Ferrato

Studio owner and 500 hr ERYT. Libby's favorite thing about teaching yoga is sharing the practice that has inspired her to become the best version of herself. She truly enjoy's watching students grow in their own practice on and off the mat. It could be as simple as a student realizing they can put their knees down in Chaturanga or as challenging as mastering traditional headstand. Giving up worry and trusting that your mat and community is present and ready for your complete fullest expression is her intention.

Her favorite pose is Crow (Bakasana) because it makes her feel grounded, strong and open all at the same time. Bakasana allows her to explore more advanced poses like headstand and chaturanga transitions. She knows that the more she engages her core the more growth happens. Everyone in our community knows that she LOVES to laugh during yoga because it is such a release.

The Vibe Behind the Tribe

Dancing Dogs Yoga was founded by Shelley Lowther in 2010. Shelley was a dedicated yoga student looking for a vibrant yoga community, and when she could not find one, she created it. Libby Ferrato purchased DDY Bluffton in 2015 after completing teacher training with Shelley. Dancing Dogs Yoga community is based on physical practice, meditation and self enquiry.

DDY Bluffton is dedicated to empowering people and community -- on and off the mat. Our mission is to empower each other through the physical and mental practice of yoga.

In addition to our Bluffton Location, we have a sister studios in Atlanta, GA
